Dr. Raj Setty

Dr. Raj Setty

Dr. Setty is native to North Carolina where he went to Wake Forest University and received a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology. After his undergraduate studies, he went to the Indiana University School of Optometry where he received his Doctor of Optometry in 2007. After relocating to Richmond he opened a clinic to serve the Mechanicsville and surrounding areas. Dr. Setty specializes in ocular disease management, contact lens fitting, pediatric exams, as well as fitting glasses. He is fully committed to serving the community and looks forward to helping you with your eye care needs.

Dr. Vasuki Anandan

Dr. Vasuki Anandan

Dr. Anandan was born in Sri Lanka and moved to Toronto, Canada at the age of 11. She received her Bachelor’s of Science at the University of Toronto. After her undergraduate studies, she went to Indiana University School of Optometry, where she received her Doctor of Optometry in 2007. After graduation, she worked several months as associates at an optometry office at Mays Landing, NJ. Upon returning to Toronto, Canada, she worked at an optometry clinic in the heart of the city. She relocated to Richmond, VA in 2010 and had the pleasure of working for several optometry and ophthalmology practices in and around the area of Richmond.

In June 2015, she joined Dr. Setty at Hanover Family Eyecare and committed to serving the Mechanicsville and surrounding areas.

Dr. Michel Kish

Dr. Michel Kish

Dr. Michel Kish has called Hanover County his home since 2002.  He found his way to Virginia while serving as an Optometrist with the United States Army as a Major at Fort Lee, VA after serving in Baumholder, Germany.  He has fond memories of his time caring for soldiers and their families prior to going into private practice.   Dr. Kish earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Penn State, and obtained his Doctorate of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago. Dr. Kish has been proudly providing quality eye care for children and adults for over twenty-four years.

In 2017, Dr. Kish had the pleasure of being featured as a runner up in the Richmond Times Dispatch “Best Optometrist” listing. In addition, in 2015, he was featured in Our Health Magazine as the recipient of their first place Bedside Manner award in the category of optometry for the Greater Richmond area.

Outside of the office, Dr. Kish enjoys home improvement projects and relaxing with his wife, Tanya, and their five children.  He is looking forward to reuniting with patients, neighbors and friends at Hanover Eye.  He is excited to bring his expertise and personal touch along with the latest technology in order to provide patients with the quality eye care they deserve.

Amy Fens

Amy Fens

ABOC, NCLE-AC, FCLSA

Amy has been fitting specialty contact lens patients for over ten years. Her particular field of expertise is the fitting of contact lenses for the management of Keratoconus, corneal ectasia, corneal transplantation, and post refractive surgery (RK, PRK, Lasik). She also specializes in the fitting of pediatric patients for the management of Aphakia. To fit these particular patients, Amy has become specialized in the fitting and use of both Rigid Gas Permeable lenses as well as Scleral lenses, for the treatment of irregular corneas. Amy is a member of the Contact lens Society of America and has also achieved the status of Fellow of the Contact lens society. She has a passion and love for her craft, and for all her unique patients.

Dr. Christopher Testa

Dr. Christopher Testa

Dr. Testa grew up in Rochester, NY, where he began his undergraduate studies in Biology at SUNY Brockport. After completing his Biology studies, he moved to Memphis, Tennessee to earn his Doctor of Optometry Degree at Southern College of Optometry, followed by a residency in Family Practice Optometry, also through SCO, at West Tennessee Eye clinic. Prior to moving to Richmond to join Hanover Family Eyecare, he spent 11 years practicing and living in Fredericksburg, VA.

Dr. Testa enjoys all aspects of primary eye care, with special interest in medical ocular disease management, specialty contact lenses, and prism correction for adult binocular disorders.

In his free time, he roams Virginia’s beautiful outdoors—hiking, boating, birdwatching, skiing and cycling with family and friends. He also enjoys making music with his cello and tinkering with his high-fidelity audio system.
